She Likes It!
She Likes it... she really likes it! Last year she didn't even crack a smile in her costume. So I was a bit worried about this year! But she really had a blast!
Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium
Last weekend we went to Dubuque for a day trip and stopped at the Museum/Aquarium.

It is a little hard to see in the picture, but Kyle and Ava are in a bubble and there are snakes all around them. Ava liked it, but Kyle didn't want to stay under there for too long!

Ava's First Hair Cut!
Ok, so technically this wasn't her first hair cut.... you might remember the "wonderful" job that Grandma Sheridan did back in February. (if you dont... scoll down and check it out!) But I am treating this as the first. I think it has something to do with blocking traumatic memories from your mind! This haircut was much less painful!

A Beautiful Fall Day!
Today we spent the day at the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard! We had a great time enjoying the beautiful day! And tomorrow we get to bake apple pie!

Ava searched long and hard for her perfect pumpkin. She liked the big ones, but ended up picking a tiny one that she could carry around with her all day long!
