Ava learned all about Memorial Day in school and insisited that we go to the parade, and visit the graves.

  It was a great day!

The Garden Is PLANTED!

The whole family got into the garden planting again this year!  Ryan and Ava were the official water bucket runners.  Kyle and I did the planting and Grace took a nap!!!  Overall a very successful morning!  Sure hope the weeds stay away this year!!!  :)

Planted this year.... beans, peas, carrots, radishes, cauliflower, green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, 2 kinds of squash, tomatoes, strawberries, jalapeno peppers, habanero peppers (I bought by mistake!!!) and cucumbers!!

Ava's Bowling Birthday Party-7 Years Old!!!

What was supposed to be a small bowling party with a few friends turned into a large party that was SO MUCH FUN!  The girls had the bowling alley practically to themselves and the bowling alley filled the jukebox playlist with a TON of the girls favorite songs! They broke out into an impromptu dance party right on the alley!  (And in the middle of dinner!)  Ava has made some great friendships with some really great girls!  She sure is a lucky little (almost) 7 Year old!!!

As an added bonus, Cara needed transportation to the party and then it turned into a sleep-over since her parents wouldn't be home till late!  This was Ava's first time having a friend sleep over. (She has not gone to someones house yet either)  She was VERY excited!!
