Daddy And Gracie Having Fun!

A Picnic Outside!

Mom's favorite place to eat because she doesn't have to sweep the floor after Gracie gets done!!

Ava's Playdate with Friends!

A busy day for our Ava... she had a planned play date with her friend Cara (and her sister, Maggie) and then an impromptu play date with her friend Reese later in the day!

Ava's Reading Competition

Ava has made it to the final round of her 2nd grade reading competition. This morning is the final! We are so proud!  Good luck, Ava!  (She woke up with a cold and stuffy nose this morning!)
Update:  Our girl did great!  She was very brave even though she was very nervous!  She made us proud!  She received an honorable mention ribbon for her hard work!

Ryan and the Baby Chick!

Ryan's class hatched baby chicks as part of their spring unit!
I can't believe he was brave enough to hold one!

Trip to the Milwaukee Zoo

Kyle is at a conference all weekend, so the kids and I were looking for a new adventure.  We decided to call in Grandma Val and Andrea and head to the Milwaukee Zoo! (We got free admission/parking by checking out a pass from the library... you know how much I LOVE a good deal!!!)  We had a great time! Lots of animals were out and active.  Favorites were the hippo, elephants, rhino, brown bear and polar bear!  Of course we had to stop for ice cream on the way home!

Easter Egg Hunt and a Visit to Great Grandma Kok!

One of the local churches holds an indoor Easter Egg Hunt every year.  We love to attend but also love that we get to go and visit Great Grandma Kok afterwards.  (Her nursing home is right across the street!)
