Muffins With Mom!

Ava's 4K class invited me for "Muffins with Mom" today!  We had a great time and Ava spoiled me with lots of presents!  I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!

Mother's Day 2012

Each year, mom does a project with her kindergarten kids and asks them questions about their moms.  This year she decided to try it with Ava and Ryan... here are their answers!

Ava Questionnaire

Technology is Fun!

Technology is fun!  We love using mom's "IPAD". 

(It's actually a Kindle Fire but Ava always calls it an ipad.

Right now her favorite game is a beginning reading app. 

Ryan's favorite is a monkey preschool game.

This is a rare moment when they are sharing it nicely.

Tiny Dancer!

Ava was taking dance at the Hartford Park and Rec for the last couple of weeks.  Unfortunately, she missed her last class of the session because she came down with a 24 hour bug this weekend.  AND she never gets sick!  But she is feeling better and we are hoping that she doesn't share with the rest of us!

Cowgirl Ava!

This week also happened to be "The Week of the Young Child" so Ava got to dress up each day for school.  Today was "dress up as what you want to be when you grow up" and Ava chose a "cowgirl"  Here is what we whipped up!

The only glitch was... she forgot her hat on the bus on the way to school.... so she was a cowgirl who was missing her hat!  But she still looked the part!

Earth Day Cupcakes for Our Star!

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Bille's

At Grandma and Grandpa Bille's, we went on a scavenger hunt all around the house and yard to find our "treasure".  We had so much fun that at the end, we were hoping to find more clues!  But we LOVE our baskets and all the goodies we found inside!

Easter at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Stephans

The annual Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Stephans was exciting once again!  Theresa won the silver egg but gave the money to Ryan and Maria won the golden egg.  We also had a pinata this year thanks to Francie!  Fun was had by all!

They sure look sharp... but it takes a lot to get a picture where they are both looking and smiling!  This first one is typical grumpy Ryan.... but the rest are ok..

Easter Egg Hunt at the Robbe's

The Robbe's are always so kind and invite us to their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Only Sarah Robbe, Ava and Ryan actually hunt, so they get very spoiled!  This year the EASTER BUNNY made a surprise appearance!  Ava loved it, but Ryan didn't want to get too close! 

Traditional Good Friday Egg Dying

What has become a new tradition in our house.... dying Easter Eggs on Good Friday!  The Brewers also started the season on Good Friday this year and of course daddy went to the game.  So we sported our Brewer gear while coloring the eggs.  Ava did AWESOME... Ryan was a little too rough with the eggs!  But in the end, they turned out beautiful!
