Our 4K Graduate!

Ava had her end of the year program tonight at 4K.  She did great and we were very proud.  Grandma and Grandpa Bille, Grandma and Grandpa Sheridan, Aunt Andrea and Jason, and of course Ryan all came to watch her big debut.  Can you believe she will be in Kindergarten next year?  I sure can't!  (We went out to Culver's afterward to celebrate her fantastic performance!)

We are so lucky!  We have a sweet girl who leaves love notes all over the house for us to find! 

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Not sure if this weekend could get any better...Friday night we went out to dinner as a family and got free food from Fazoli's!  Saturday morning we bought a refrigerator for our new house and then went to Madison to meet the Wellman's at Chuck E. Cheese.  Sunday we went to church, hung out at Great Grandma and Grandpa Stephans with family, came home and went swimming TWICE in the froggie pool.  Later we had a build your own pizza party and played games on the Wii together.  Monday we went fishing with Monica and Jim and had a cookout with the rest of the family!  Kyle and Ryan also rescued a turtle who had wondered into the road.  Such fun memories!

Ryan's Mohawk

This weekend Ryan got his summer buzz cut... but before it all went away... Mom gave him a Mohawk.  It didn't last long (apparently we needed more gel!) but it was pretty sweet while it lasted!

Wedding Preview!

We picked up Ryan's ivory shirt and his tie last night, so we had an impromptu fashion show to model our wedding outfits for Lucas and Dana's wedding.  Ava is the flower girl and will do a FABULOUS job!  Ryan is the ring bearer and will be our loose cannon.  But if last night was any indication, he will do great!  We practiced walking down the aisle and dancing.  It was SO cute to hear Ryan tell Ava to twirl.  Ryan even got to twirl too!  We can't wait for JULY 21st!!!

Little Linus

Have you met our little Linus?  Ryan is quite the little guy.  He LOVES his blankies... which he affectionately has named "Blue" and "Pink".  He usually needs at least one to help him get to bed.  (He prefers "Blue" but if the room is dark enough we can sometimes pass "Pink" off as "Blue" in a pinch!)  Ava never really had a "lovey", so this is a tad new to us.  (She did have her little "Boots" the monkey from Dora, but wasn't nearly as attached as Ryan is to his "lovies". We just hope that he gives them up before he leaves for college.... but  it sure is cute (for now).

Family Movie Night!

What could be better than fresh popped popcorn, apple juice and snuggling in your pajamas?  We had a great time at Family Movie night and hope to continue the tradition.  (It helps to motivate Ryan to get out of the tub--see next post!)
