Happy 4th of July!!!

Nazereth Day!

We had an AWESOME time at Holy Hill's family day.  We got there a bit early, so we were able to try out all of the games/activites without any lines!  We were the first to try out the bouncy house, the relay games, the water balloons, and of course the facepaint/balloon animals with the clowns.  Ryan was too scared to have the clowns get that close, but Ava ended up with this BEAUTIFUL creation!  We also got front row seats for the magician and then Ava got called up on stage!  Later a photographer from the Catholic Harold came and asked for Ava's information because she may be in the paper!  We will keep you posted!

Future Fashion Designer!

Yesterday Ava asked for a piece of paper and then proceded to draw this.  When I asked what she was working on, she said she was drawing the dress she was wearing.  I then asked why she picked that to draw and her answer was "Because I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up"  How cute!

Our new favorite is BASEBALL!!!  Ryan especially!  He can't get enough!  (Well on this occasion, I accidently hit him with a batted ball and that ended the fun.... but most of the time, he loves it!)

Ryan's First Trip to the Movies

Yesterday we went to see Brave at the Fond du Lac theater.  This is Ryan's first time at the movies and he sure was excited.... but he wasn't quite sure what to expect.  He did REALLY well and gave the movie two thumbs up (even if Ava deemed it "kinda scary")  It was a fun family experience!

Laura's Smile Mile 2012

We had a great time as usual at this years Smile Mile.  Kyle had Lucas' bachelor party, so Grandma Bille and Andrea came with us.  We all participated in the 2 mile walk and then Ava and Ryan raced in the Giggle Gallop!  They even "won" medals!

Future Firefighters

Grandpa needed help and Ava and Ryan were quick to the rescue!  Here they are testing out their future firefighter skills.  The fun turned into a water fight, which the kids didn't mind.  But it turns out that Grandpa seemed to be the most wet in the end!

Day Out with Thomas!

We spent a FANTASTIC family day in Green Bay last week visiting Thomas the Tank Engine when he rolled into the National Railroad Museum.  We got to ride Thomas around the train yard, spend time getting tattoos, visiting Sir Topham Hatt and dancing with Mr. Billy. (No relation!) :)  Then we had lunch at Curlys at Lambeau Field (and even saw a few Packer players from afar!)  Such a fun day!
