Ava's First Softball Game!
Ava did great in her debut softball game. She had a bunch of great hits and showed fantastic hustle in the field! The best part-she got two "freeze pops" from the concession stand after the game!!! :)

Mother's Day visit to Great Grandma Kok!

Ava Lost Her First Tooth!
Just shy of her 6th Birthday, Ava lost her first tooth tonight! It has been loose for a couple of weeks (and the grown-up tooth had actually started growing behind it) but we were still shocked when she was eating an apple slice and yelled... "I just ate something hard" Sure enough... it was her tooth! AND she didn't swallow it! We can't wait to put it under our pillow and see if the tooth fairy will come tonight!!
****UPDATE**** The tooth fairy DID come and brought Ava $2!!! 
There it is... in her hand. Can you believe it is SO tiny!
She loves putting her tongue in the empty space!

We are ALL excited for Baby Bille #3!
Ava wrote this all by herself. She has become quite the reader and writer in kindergarten!! She is already a great big sister to Ryan but is super excited to meet the new baby!

Walmart Worker vs. Teacher
Today was "Dress Like What You Want To Be When You Grow Up" at MVP (Ava's School) Her fisrt choice was a "Walmart Worker". Unfortunatley this morning as we were trying to throw together her “Walmart Worker” outfit, we realized we couldn’t find Ryan's navy polo shirt and the only kakis we could find were capris!!! So, she had to settle for her second choice….a teacher! (I think she will be a natural someday!) HA!!!

A Great Kindergarten Report Card!
Ava had another great Kindergarten report card this week. As a reward for the great scores AND COMMENTS, she got her coveted Personal Ice Cream Maker. We tested it out tonight... lets just say that we might need a little more practice to perfect the perfect scoop! (We forgot to add the sugar AND it was a little soupy!) But you should have SEEN the HUGE smile on her face as she was "Shakin" the container!

A Future Teacher?
We love it when mom takes us along to school with her on the weekends! There are so many things to play with! But Ava's favorite is to "play school" just like I did when I was a kid! Her "new student" Ryan even came over for the reading lesson!
