Grandpa Sheridan and Uncle Jason took Ava out as part of the mentor hunt. Even though they were disappointed not to get a turkey, Ava made lots of memories with her grandpa and uncle and that's one of the main reasons why she wanted to do this. Both Grandpa and Jason said it was the coldest turkey hunt they've ever been a part of. Maybe the cold kept the turkeys away? It's certainly not anything I ever imagined, but so happy she is enjoying herself. And she's already said she's going to go next weekend for the youth hunt!
