Snow Day Round 2!

It was a pretty big snow storm to hit here, which gave us 2 snow days to start our Christmas Break early.  Good thing mom had stocked up on baking supplies...just in case!!!  Todays cookies were a team effort.  Ava helped mom roll them out and bake them.  Then Ava went to Grandma Val's  house to play with some of the day care kids and Ryan and Dad helped frost them!

A REAL Letter from Santa!

Check this out!  We got a REAL letter in the mail today from SANTA up at the North Pole.  We were so excited!  Especially because Santa says we are on the "Good" list!!!

The First Snowfall!

Nothing beats the first snowfall of the year!  We went to church and immediately changed into our snow gear as soon as we got home.  Both loved it this year!  (Ryan was chasing Kyle and throwing snow balls at him.... Ava was a big helper and helped Kyle shovel the entire driveway/sidewalk.)  And the best part?  Hot Chocolate to warm up with when we finally came inside!

Cookie Decorating with Aunt Andrea!

Sign us up for this EVERY year!  Andrea had extra cookies left over from a school event, but they needed to be frosted.  Ava and Ryan to the rescue!  This is a perfect situation for mom!  She didn't have to make the cookies, but we still got the fun of decorating... and eating!

Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Mom had "Santa Night" at her school tonight.  We went with her and helped her at her station (ornament decorating) and also got to meet the big guy himself!  AND Ryan made it on Santa's lap!  (He was so proud!)  This was our 3rd Santa visit this year and it's only December 4th!  Thankfully we are on his "good list!"

We also saw this Santa and Mrs. Claus at Wal-Mart! 

Who would have gussed that the only one NOT looking at the camera would have been Mrs. Claus!  Seriously!  :)
