Indianapolis Children's Museum.... AMAZING!

Ava was a lot more cooperative than Ryan and Grace for pictures.... but I managed to sneak in a few of them too!  We all had LOTS of fun!

It looks like a shopping mall..... but this was just levels 1 and 2!!  Two more levels above and one in the lower level! So much to see!

Our Tree Frog!

This little guy has been bugging Kyle for a couple of weeks.  He may look small and innocent but he makes a VERY loud noise.  Finally after weeks of complaints from Kyle we finally got a look at him yesterday.   We couldn't believe how little he was!  Kyle was able to catch him and then Kyle and the kids went to return him to the wild and away from our pool/deck/wood pile.  As they were dropping him off at the marsh area in town, they were very happy to hear that same obnoxious sound coming from another tree frog in the area. Ava felt better avout dropping him off knowing he would have a friend nearby!  :-)

 Ryan and Gracie fell asleep on the drive so Ava had to do the duties by herself for the last two stops.

Birthday Tradition...with a twist!

In our house the birthday kid usually wakes up to balloons covering their bed and floor!  Ava woke up to a bit of a surprise! 

Ava's Pizza and Pool Party!

Ava had a super fun 8th Birthday party with friends at the YMCA!  All the girls first came to our house for pizza and Dairy Queen Ice Cream cake!  Then we headed over to the Beaver Dam YMCA for swimming.  This year Ava had the idea (well maybe mom suggested it) to ask her friends to bring a gift for the animals at the Waupun Animal Shelter instead of a gift for herself.  Her friends were very generous and Ava gets to continue her birthday celebration later this week when we are able to go to the shelter to drop off all the donated items!  (Special thanks to Aunt Andrea who came along to coral girls, drive Grace and Ryan and help in the pool!)
