Coronavirus Quarantine Week 4
The end of week 4 and we all are doing well with distance learning. Everyone seems to know the expectations and we are getting our work done early so we get lots of time for fun too. Last year for egg dying at Grandma and Grandpa Sheridans house, each kid got their own dozen. How times have changed.... Due to the pandemic there is now an egg shortage. This year I felt lucky that I could find a carton of 18! Each kid got six and I thought that was a privilege. This week we also had a mini photo shoot, painted kindness rocks, did a lot of baking of goodies to share with neighbors, Grace and Ava had a makeover/spa day, Smore bonfires, more daily walks/hikes, and the most fun of all.... Grace and I drove around delivering Easter packages to all of my students houses. It was fun to be the Easter Bunny and surprise them. Just can't believe that we are living HISTORY right now. Such unbelievable times.

Coronavirus Quarantine Week 3
We all went back to our "Distance Learning" this week but managed to have some fun each day too...
Lots of bike rides, hikes, intense Uno Attack games, family Lightening Basketball competitions, and Grace became obsessed with card tricks. (As soon as this quarantine is over, she is taking her show on the road!) I know this is a scary, worrisome, trying time.... but when we look back on this time 10 years from now, I hope my family remembers it as a time of togetherness, with fun/family bonding activities.
(Ava got to use the sweeper on the mower this weeks and Ryan learned how to spin the basketball on his finger. Grace and Kyle have made an alliance during our Uno Games and are a hard combo to beat!)
