Outing to Lake Michigan
Ryan and Mom 3 Mile Walk (He is such a talkative kid when you get him alone)
Face Lift for the Garden Shed
"Field Trip to Shalom
"Little Mrs. Bille" mailed out to all my students for some fun mail and adventures!

Annual May Day Tradition!
We love going around town to deliver our Annual May Day baskets to our friends, family and neighbors. Grace was terrified the entire time that we would be caught. Grandpa Bille was once again on his "A Game" and caught us in the act. Otherwise we were pretty sneaky this year!
Coronavirus Quarantine Week 7
It was a hard week as I had to pack up my classroom for the year. It is so heartbreaking to think of all the special end-of-the-year days that my students are missing. I couldn't let them miss out May Day tradition, so I went around to deliver to their houses. An instant mood booster! In other good news for the week....
*Grace got a "new to her" bike upgrade. (In typical Grace fashion... A Barbie bike with a Ninja Turtles bike helmet.)
*First Family Bike Ride of the Year
*A Little Batting Practice
*Visiting Grandpa B (Yay for getting outside!)
*Fun with Grandpa and Grandma Bille at the farm
*First Weenie Roast (Apparently they have never done that before. Smores, of course, but 1st time for hot dogs. They loved it!) I think it is a parenting fail that they are 12, 10, and 6 and never roasted hot dogs over a campfire!

Coronavirus Quarantine Week 6
This week the kids put in some sweat equity by helping split/stack wood. Their pay off... The awesome tire swing at the farm and getting to ride in the bed of the truck out to the wood pile. Simple pleasures. Ryan finally got to present his Hank Aaron wax museum project via video (which he was supposed to present the day that schools closed.) We also spent the day in the woods to celebrate the 50th Earth Day on Wednesday and went to Madison for a mini outing (while staying inside the car the whole time) to see the Flight of Lights at the airport. Trying to find the joy even when the days are hard.
