Ryan's Golden Birthday Party-Four on September 4th!

Ryan had a Pirate Themed Birthday to celebrate his GOLDEN birthday.  He will turn 4 on September 4th!  Thanks to all the family and friends for helping us celebrate! 

Summer Adventure #17-Trip to Monroe and the Drive In Movie Theater!

We finally made it to Monroe this summer! (Nothing like waiting until our last available weekend!)  We had a trip to the Sky-Vu Drive in on our summer bucket list.  Even a little rain couldn't keep us away.  In fact the weather cleared up just in time to watch the movie under the stars.  The Wellman's joined us and Ryan was in heaven!  (He can't stop talking about his "best friend" Joah!)  We also got to have lunch at Ponchos and Lefty's (moms favorite) with Terri and Ed and the Brunton's and then met the Brunton's new dog-Baxter.  Seriously the cutest puppy ever!  That night we stayed at the Anderson's Bed and Breakfast and got spoiled with an impressive brunch the next day. We also squeezed in a visit with Larry and Glenda!  Wow!  What a fun 2 days!

Ava's 1st Grade Meet Your Teacher!

Ava and dad went to meet Ava's first grade teacher last Wednesday (mom had her own "meet your teacher" on the same night) :(   It was also her chance to check out her new school.  MVP moved over the summer and now is in the old Jefferson school building.  Ava was most excited to meet Mrs. Tank because she was Kyle's 1st Grade teacher 27 years ago!!!  Kyle loved her back then and Ava is super excited to spend the next school year with her.  (She looks way too young to be teaching for so long....maybe because she has such awesome students.)  She also taught aunt Andrea, uncle Lucas and uncle Mitchell! 

Although dad was not thrilled he humored moms request to take a few pictures.  Here she is... the almost 1st grader!!!

End of Summer Pool Party!

Ava finally got to have her friends over for an end of summer pool party.  Although the weather was not so great this morning, it started to get sunny and hot just in time for her friends to come!
