Fall Family Photo!

Who needs professional pictures when you have a nice camera, a brother who can take the shot, and BEAUTIFUL fall colors all around.  A few of these may need to be framed!

Hiking at Holy Hill!

It was a beautiful day for a fall hike around Holy Hill.   The kids had a great time and were quite the troopers.  Mom even got in a few good photo ops!

Today Andrea and I had a rummage sale (this was just a mini one that consisted of the junk I didn't want to unpack/find a home for after the move)  Ava had a great time working and helping with the sale, but had even more fun running her own lemonade stand!  She was VERY successful and made almost $10!  (It helps that her biggest customers were Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Lucas.)  She LOVED it and was pretty much totally independent.  I think we have a little entrepreneur on our hands! 

Packer Party!!!

This game may go down in history!  (The replacement refs really made bad calls and as Kyle insists "cost us the game")  But it may just go down in family history as a great party celebrating Grandma Bille!

Apple Picking....

So this year we had a SUPER hot, dry summer... and it didnt help the apple crop.  In fact our usual favorites had to put a stop to picking your own and instead only allowed you to buy "already been picked" apples.  Where is the fun in that!?!  But we still made our annual apple pies-one for us and one to take to Grandpa Bille's Packer Birthday party.  The sure were yummy!

Silly Ava!

Ava got new Hello Kitty socks to start the school year.  Each pair has a little band around them to keep them together in a pair (becuase they are brand new)  Well this morning she put on her last pair and I found her like this! She took the little band and put it on her nose like a Breathe Right strip or like the football players wear!  Oh boy!!!  Where does she get this stuff from!?!

Cheese Days 2012!

We miss lots of things about Monroe.  But of course one of our favorites is Cheese Days!  Usually we had lots of people coming down to stay with us for the three day weekend but this year, we had to make the trek.  Thankfully the Andersons and Bruntons got us a GREAT spot for the parade and Grandma and Grandpa Bille met us half way (we were coming from the wedding in Milwaukee) so we all could make it for the parade on Sunday!
